Jean Charles de Castelbajac

So, this line is a couple months old, but I thought it was interesting enough to bring back. If you don't know by now, I really love legos. And, these girls got it goin' on. Check out this awkward/amazing video, as well.

LED Tunnel

This LED Tunnel, 200 feet long in the National Galler of Art Washington DC, has over 41,000 LED lights.  What's great is that it's completely random, so you'll never experience the same animation twice.

Christian Faur

Christian Faur's crayon series is gorgeous!

Made for Each Other

Made for Each Other is a really cute site from Frito Lay, allowing users to choose two characters that are "made for each other." If the right choice is made, the two do a customized animation. And, the preloader is brilliant!

Pomegranate

The new Pomegranate phone is a stroke of genius–ergonomic, friendly, well-designed.... and has a built in projector!

Kid Rock Beer

Who can possibly speak more about America than Kid Rock?  And, what else do Americans love the most?.... trashy beer.  That's right, Rock's coming out with a line of..... beer, creating 400 jobs for those in Michigan.

Audi Spot

So, Venables Bell & Partners created the Audi commercial during the Super Bowl.  But, what's more impressive is the information graphic displaying the world's reaction to the commercial–through twitter, facebook, blogs, etc.

America's Best Magicians?

So, this week on Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance Crew, contestants appeared to have cheated. How, do you ask? Clearly, it's through some straight up Harry Potter biznass. All I have to say is... "WTF?!"

Li Wei

Li Wei is a performance artist obsessed with gravity defying stunts and photoshop tricks. Some of these photos definitely make me cringe a bit.

Scarborough provides a commentary on our acceptance of reality within Manga, to produce gorgeous photos with a 100% creep factor.

Adam Simpson

Simpson's works is strangely beautiful.  Fubiz has more photos, and his site is bizarre.

The Official DTV Stamp

So, it's been talked about for a while, and approved by Congress, but Obama has officially signed the bill stating that the DTV switch has been delayed by 4 months! TV Stations are pissed.

Noodle on Noodle

woah.  the more I look at this site, the crazier I feel and the more brilliant it becomes.  For the past 14 days 20 hours 38 min and 10 seconds, people all over the world have been virtually stacking these Cup-o-Noodles.  It's only at 51,557 feet right now, but the goal is to end up in space.

Latte Printer

A bit ridiculous, but really cool nonetheless.

2.5 Acre Obama Portrait

A little overboard?  I can't decide.  But, beautiful, none the less.  What else are you going to do with 650 tons of sand?

FutureMe

For some reason, this has a "woah" factor for me. FutureMe.org allows you to write a message, choose your due date, and have that message emailed to you in the future. I just tried it, and have a feeling I'm going to be creeped out when 2010 rolls around.

Google Eye Tracking

So, how can Google learn more about the way we parse through their immense amounts of search results?  Eye tracking of course!  Google recently studied 34 searchers, attempting to read their mind using eye-trackers.  Here's a basic video of how your eye jumps around the page (and yes, this is in real time).

The recent blog post displaying the results from this study is fascinating.

eBoy

So, these guys have been around for quite a bit, but I just thought I would share my love.  eBoy is considered the "godfather of pixel."  Not only do they make toys, but they construct beautifully detailed, digital imagery, magnifying the pixels.  I haven't looked at a work of art in such length since "Where's Waldo?"  Check out their blog + shop.

Project Euh

Project Euh is a brilliant weblog devoted to generating weird javascript/flash experiments.  The image above depicts my attempt to play "Pong" using my browser windows.  Also, check out the artist behind such prowess– Sylvain Vriens.
