Let it Shine
Here's a really cool commercial advertising the Honda Insight. The ad depicts a super sweet animation, given life by a grid of headlights.

Miniaturization
I really enjoy model trains, but not for the novelty. I just love how much time people invest in something so tiny.
Well, this isn't tiny. In fact, it's now the world's largest minature train railway, and it spans from Norway, Denmark, and Sweden to North America, through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

MorphThing
So, this is a fun little time-waster. MorphThing allows you to morph your favorite celebrities. Although these sites have been around for quite a while, this is interesting to me because you can have compounding morphs– morphing the same photos over and over. Here's Maggie Gyllenhaal, Ashley Olsen, Queen Latifah, Kylie Minogue, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, and Amy Winehouse in one person!

Henrique Oliveira

Oliveira's work blows my mind. Made from scraps of old wood, he weaves and adheres the pieces together into installations he calls "tridimensionals." Thanks to Aubrey for the tip.
A better Google logo?

Check out this thread where people have attempted to redesign Google's logo. Although some of these look pretty interesting, I'm afraid that it doesn't match up to Google's charm.

Post-Its Galore!

So, I've seen this done a couple of times, but I thought this rendition was particularly beautiful. Adrian Merz just plastered a whole room with thousands of Post-It notes. Fubiz 'splains.

Takin' out the trash

So.... the questions of removing our space junk are just now surfacing after all these years. Possibly due to when the two satellites crashed on Feb. 11? So, what are our plans? Blow it up? Well, we haven't quite.... .thought of that one yet. The Wall Street Journal 'splains.

Cloud Umbrella
So freakin' cute, it's ridiculous. A cloud... umbrella. Who would've thunk? This might only be good for sunny days, because I can't imagine it keeping me dry for more than 20 seconds. Don't Stop Design has more photos.

Urban Camouflage
Okay, I can't get over how brilliant these guys are. The photo that's above? That's a guy, in an outfit with a bunch of folders attached, camouflaging himself. Sooooooo freakin' weird, but amazing! You have to check out their site.
Scanwiches

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm obsessed with sandwiches. But, when I view this site, I don't know what kind of emotions I'm being surrounded with. Kind of..... beautiful. Here's a running-collection of scanned sandwiches.

2019
If anyone knows what the future entails, it's Microsoft (?) Regardless, they've made a pretty sweet video about what life will be like within 10 years.
Spectrum USB Hub

I love this USB Hub, and of course, I want it! Designed by Art. Lebedev studio in Russia. Check out the gorgeous process diagrams.

'A New Perspective'

Okay, so James Tooze's new table keeps freaking me out. The concept is clear and simple: when standing at the right angle, the lines on the surface align, creating the illusion of x-ray vision. More from DesignBoom.
