Snuggie for Dogs

Oh yeahhh..... It never ends. Behold, Snuggie for Dogs!!! I dunno, though. Some of these dogs look pretty pissed.

Fontplore

Fontplore is an table-based interface for choosing fonts. It's pretty cool, and uses tangible objects to manipulate the interface. I'd like to know more about it, or actually interact with it to see if it slows down or speeds up the time to choose a font.

555 Kubik

Behold Urbanscreen and art director Daniel Rossa's 555 Kubrik! Projected along the exterior walls of the Hamburg Kunsthalle, this piece creates an awesome 3D visualization, further bringing awareness to the beautiful construction of the building. Motionographer has more building projections.

Strawberry Swing

So, Coldplay actually has a fantastic video that was released. It appears that Chris Martin might've been put through a bit of an endurance test, participating in a stop-motion fest using sidewalk chalk. It's actually quite beautiful. I only have the link to the video at the moment, but will post an embeddable video when it becomes available.

Check out the video at Babel Gum

Alice in Wonderland

So, this was leaked last week, and also removed. So, I was a little reluctant in posting it. But, here it is... in official Hulu glory. The Alice in Wonderland trailer, directed by Tim Burton.

Living Sasquatch

Okay, I know I've been posting a lot of Augmented Reality stuff, but this site is pretty funny and amazing. Why? Because you can print out your own square and have a sasquatch appear right in front of you! You can even make him break dance. Pretty diggity amazing, I must say.

AR Business Cards

So, Augmented Reality is becoming quite a trend these days, and people are doing a fantastic job of pushing the technology. Such examples include a zombie shooter and an iPhone device to help you find your way around a subway. Check out this bangin' business card from James Alliban.

Ink Calendar

So, I love my iCal so much that I sometimes forget how amazing tangible calendars can be. I'm used to calendars that have cute pictures of puppies, where I don't actually fill them in.... I just look at puppies as a form of wall art. But, this is absolutely gorgeous. Designed by Oscar Diaz, the Ink Calendar, using capillarity, will slowly draw the month's ink from a bottle, truly bringing awareness to the passage of time.

Music from a Tree

Composer and sound designer Diego Stucco has successfully utilized a tree as a musical and percussive instrument. I know it sounds goofy at first, and it kind of is... but it's also sheer brilliance.

Visible Tweets

Visible tweets is a pretty neat site that visualizes current Twitter tweets. Just type in what you want to search for, and it'll bring in the most recent statements containing that word or phrase. A nice, dynamic piece to have up while working.

2009 Logo Trends

Trends and crowd suggestion always amazes me, but it's no surprise to find articles of graphic design that influence each other. LogoLounge's Bill Gardner gives his wonderful and ever popular analysis on current logo trends. Such as this trend: the use of mosaic imagery.

Bleeding Billboards

I love awareness campaigns like these. These bleeding billboards in New Zealand drip red from the faces of children when it rains, warning drivers to be more cautious in weather-impaired conditions.

The Eternal Moonwalk

I have to admit, this is quite a brilliant idea. In a tribute to MJ, you can submit your video of the moonwalk, adding a link in the eternal chain of the iconic dance!

Skydeck

Okay, the new Sears Tower Skydeck is pretty much terrifying. With 4 separate and rectractable boxes that protrude from the side of the building, you'll soon be guessing if you way too much keep you within 3 panes of glass or fall 103 floors of terror below. Oh... but they can hold 5 tons (whew). The Chicago Sun-Times 'splains.

Sarah Illenbenger

Illengerger has a fantastic sense of manipulating objects. This piece is quite gorgeous, and pretty much dropped my jaw. A pop-up display on the back of doors for Jung Von Matt.

Audacity of Huge

I'm pretty much in love with this video by Mobile Simian Disco. The song is a little strange at first, but I grew to love it... really fast.
